Itinerary
Day 1 :
ARRIVAL SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
On arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met, assisted & get driven to Srinagar hotel on arrival check to the hotels and proceed local sightseeing of Srinagar Visit to Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar collectively known as the Mughal Gardens are contribution of the great Mughal laid out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view entire City, along with famous Dal-lake & river Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of pashmina / Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned carpets, evening return back to Hotel for overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.
Day 2 :
SRINAGAR TO KARGIL VIA SONAMARG.
After breakfast drive to Kargil, on a way to Kargil we have to pass through Sonamarg and after g long drive we reach Kargil by late evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Zoji La: (3528m) Zojila is located on the National Highway 1D between Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range. Zoji La is 9 km (5.6 mi) from Sonamarg and provides a vital link between Ladakh and Kashmir and is the second highest pass after Fotu La on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway.
Drass: (3280m) A few km beyond Drass is the Drass war memorial, built in the memory of fallen soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war and a must visit for every traveller passing through this route. From here it is a straight run to Kargil and you will be there with in 1-½ Hours. Kargil is the intended pit stop for the majority of travellers. Overnight stay at Kargil hotel.
Day 3 :
DRIVE FROM KARGIL TO LEH VIA CROSSING NAMKILA PASS (12198 ft.) and FOTOLA PASS (3,510 m)
After breakfast drive towards Leh with some spectacular view from the pass. The chief attraction is Mulbek Chamba, a 9m high rock sculpture in deep relief of the Maitreya, the “Future Buddha” which reflects a unique blend of esoteric symbolism, with early Buddhist art.
Drive further to the 11th-century Lamayuru Monastery enroute visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will see why the name of this area is Moonland, as it has the same formations as visible on the moon). Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides.
Further along the journey, we halt at Sangam - the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. You can see the two, distinctly colored rivers merge beautifully in the laps of lofty mountains.
We proceeded further to the Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled snugly in the laps of the Himalayan Mountains. This 15th-century Gurudwara is a mere 5 km drive from the iconic Magnetic Hill, a scientific anomaly that defies the laws of gravity Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 :
LEH – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast drive to explore the beauty of Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and market.
Shanti Stupa:- Shanti stupa was founded in 1985 sponsored by Japanese for world peace. It was inaugurated by His holiness the 14th Dalai lama. Shanti stupa has a spectacular view od Leh city and Stok glacier.
Leh Palace:-The Leh Palace known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’ was built by Singay Namgyal, around the beginning of 17th century AD. The nine-storey Palace is now deserted, and archeological survey of India has taken up the renovation work.

Day 5 :
LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT.
After breakfast, we drive to Nubra valley. The journey from Leh to Nubra spans 39 km and passes through the iconic Khardung La Pass. At an altitude of 17,582 ft., it is one of the five highest motorable roads in the world. Shrouded in a blanket of snow, the pass affords you sweeping views of the Indus Valley, along with the seemingly endless Zanskar range in the south. To your north, behold the magnificent Saser massif in all its glory. Adorned with fluttering prayer flags, Khardung La top is arguably the most picturesque location in Ladakh.
From Khardung La, we continue the journey to Nubra valley, also known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers. Sitting at an altitude of approximately 10,000 ft., it is nestled in the north of Ladakh, right between the Ladakh Himalayas and the Karakoram range. Once at Nubra, we check into our camps/hotel in Hunder for the night. Take in the breathtaking views of the lush oasis villages set as a stark contrast amidst barren mountains. These villages give you a rare glimpse into the fascinating lives of the locals. A visit to a Ladakhi home can also be arranged.

Day 6 :
NUBRA VALLEY TURTUK NUBRA
After breakfast, drive towards Turtuk Village cushioned by the scenic Karakoram mountains.Witness Turtuk Gram Panchayat which is the northernmost village of India. Discover the largest apricot producing village in India.Get back to your tents/hotel in Nubra Valley by evening.Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 7 :
NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG
This morning, drive to Pangong Tso (lake), which is the largest brackish lake in Asia. A large part of it extends into Tibet. The lake is 80 miles (130 km) long and 3 miles (5 km) at its widest point. It freezes completely in winter and there's no marine life here, except for a few migrating birds like gulls and Brahminy ducks.
As this is a border region, the furthest point you're allowed to go to is Spangmik, from where there are spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, as well as their reflections in the ever-changing surface of the blue-green lake. Above Spangmik are the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range. Spend the night on the shores of Pangong Tso
Day 8 :
PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (180 KMS / 5-7 HRS)
In the night, a million stars in the night sky watch over the lake ( hello, astrophotography enthusiasts). Spend the night in camps near the lake. In the morning, capture the golden rays of the early morning sun on the lake. Explore the beauty of the lake to your heart’s content, and head back to Leh via Hemis Monastery route. Hemis Monastery is the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Explore the monastery with to your heart’s content before continuing the drive back to Leh, where we check into our hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 :
DEPART LEH (FLY OUT).
After early morning breakfast transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination. Fly back with the sweet memories of Ladakh.
