Pickup from Delhi Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Shimla .Shimla is 350 Kilometers from Chandigarh and will take 6 - 7 hours to reach. On arrival at Shimla. Check into the hotel. Dinner & Over Night stay in Shimla.
Post breakfast, Sightseeing at Kufri Mini Zoo, Fun world, Horse riding etc followed by lunch at ChiniBanglow, Kufri. After lunch the tour will proceed to Kharapathar 2,700 metres (95kms /4 hrs) via Theog. Kharapathar is located at an altitude of 2700 meters and at a distance of 70 kms from Shimla. Enroute the group can enjoy watching apple orchards and thick forest of deodar trees. Check in at the Hotel Giriganga Resort, Kharapathar. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Post breakfast Check out from the hotel & proceed to Giriganga- Kuppar trek with packed lunch from Hotel Giriganga Resort, Kharapathar (partly by vehicle). Giri-Ganga is located in Pabbar valley southeast corner of Himachal Pradesh. Kharapathar falls on the way from where trail starts to this mesmerizing place. Trail starts with a wide dirt track at a distance of 6 kms till Giri- Ganga. Trail is mostly shaded with tall Himalayan cedar (Deodar) and pine trees. This place is the source of river Giri-Ganga which originates just below the Kuppar meadow. Every year local people gather there to worship Lord Shiva during (Shivratri) and during (Navratri). Trek to Kuppar starts from Giri–Ganga temple. It takes 1:30 hrs from Giri–Ganga to reach Kuppar Bugyal. Trek grade is beginners. From top one can enjoy breathtaking views of Himalayan ranges and Pabbar Valley. Back to Hotel Giriganga Resort, Dinner and overnight stay.
Post breakfast Check out from the Camp & proceed toChanshal . Jubbal Visit Jubbal Palace. Hatkoti: Visit the Hateshwari Mata Temple, which is located on the banks of the Pabbar River. & transfer to Chanshal. Dinner & Night Stay at Chanshal Valley.
Post breakfast, you will be passing through the zig-zag turns to reach the Chanshal Pass. Chanshal Pass is the highest mountain peak in the region with an altitude of 4,520 meters and is largely an unexplored gem that serves the nomadic appetite of travellers seeking adventure. The Chanshal Pass, or Chanshal Valley, serves as the link between Dodra Kwar and Rohru villages in the Shimla district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. You may also opt for a day’s hike to the unexplored Saru Lake that gives you a kind of GOT (Game of Thrones) vibe, with ravens flying over your head and views so damn beautiful that words can't justify. In the evening return back to the campsite for a tasty dinner.Overnight stay at the camps in the Chanshal Valley.
After breakfast, Check out from camp & transfer to Dodra - Kwar we will be undertaking a walking tour of Dodra & Kwar village and interacting with the villagers to learn about their lifestyle, traditions, customs, challenges, and agriculture practices.
Dodra: It is a highly serene and stunning village nestled in a remote area of Himanchal above 2500mts sea level ., we will visit the Jakha Dev Temple. After spending time here, we’ll be moving to Kwar Village.
Kwar: This village is the center of this region. The first bus entered this village in 2009, and it was the first time that villagers enjoyed the journey in a bus speaks loudly about the remoteness of this place. The plans were approved in 2004 to build a road from Rohru to Kwar Village, but the Devta (Village deity) refused permission for this plan which delayed the construction of the road by five years. The concept of life is such that one should have four sons, one for grazing the livestock, second for agriculture, third for looking after the household’s daily needs, and fourth for as a reliever if anything goes wrong with the other three sons.
Beautiful temples and green fields of the villagers are soothing to the eyes and souls apart from the picturesque surroundings of the village.
After visiting this enchanting village, we will retreat to Dodra Village for a homestay.
